The fish and chips were cooked perfectly. The spice shrimp tacos were very good and the slaw in them made the tacos. Service was quick.
We went in Saturday night looking for a place to watch a game. The bartender was incredibly helpful and let us turn the closest TV to the game we wanted to watch. We only ordered drink this time but we will be back to try the food soon! Drinks were great!
Such a cute location! Husband had a Ruben and was so freaking good. Loved everything about our visit.
Had an awesome experience at this spot! Hannah was absolutely fantastic—super attentive and friendly. The theme is definitely unique, but once you hear the family history behind it, it all makes sense and adds to the charm. One of the cooks even came out to check on us and shared that many of the recipes come straight from the owners’ mother and grandmother, which explains why the sauces (made in-house!) tasted so fresh and authentic. No complaints at all—except maybe for the employees casually walking around vaping. Other than that, everything was on point!
A must see place. We ordered Wings as recommended. Amazing choice! Stopped by Elizabeth City during our South Sailing trip on Sunday. Luckily we found Tooleys. Most places were closed. After the great Wings experience, we tried cheese curd and burger. Both were excellent. The bar is very cozy and designed with an eclectic seating taste. I like the wall and lighting design as well. If you are an ambiance and a comfort person, this is your spot. Their women bathroom also looked like my own. Overall I fell like home here. Our server was a young blond lady. Her service was top notch. Bonus: We couldn’t find an open store to buy thrash bag and We had to sail in the morning. They gave us bunch of nylon bags. They made my day one more time. We’ll be back!
May 2024. We had a long day at work so I treated my husband to dinner at Tooley’s Tavern in Elizabeth City. They had an “everything” Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo that was absolutely amazing and the chicken was cooked perfectly. More than enough for 3 meals Plus look at their lemon ice cube in the Manhattan!
This place is what Elizabeth City needed!! Tonight was amazing listening to live music and great food! Our waitress Savanna was top notch! Will definitely be going back soon!
Wondered off the main streets and found myself downtown. If your not downtown there’s only the main chain stuff or plenty of Mexican!!! Finally a place to call home! Great food, atmosphere is stout! Heather is awesome and kept cold beers coming! Great food with an ole English flair!
